
Juan Ramón Fons joined Airmed International Flight School on the 1st of April as the new Head of Operations.
With more than 20,000 flying hours in his logbook, Juan Ramón Fons started his flying career in 1967 in the Spanish Royal Air Force where he trained as a military pilot.
Since 1972 and up to last February he has worked for Iberia as a co-pilot and Captain on Fokker 28, DC-10 and DC-9, B-727, MD-87 and B-757. He was also the training Captain on various fleets as well as being the DGAC delegate inspector.
For the last 10 years he has been an A-340 Captain as well as an Instructor on type together with being a Line Check Examiner for a period of six years. Recently he was also appointed as an A-340 Type rating Examiner.
It is a great pleasure for AIRMED to be able to welcome him aboard and to count on his collaboration and presence.

Airmed- Airpull Collaboration
From now on the banner towing company Airpull will be working in close collaboration with our flying school by offering our students the possibility of work on finishing their training carrying out banner towing publicity flights.
Airpull, which is based in Valencia, will also be offering exclusively to Airmed students favourable competitive rates for the rental of their aircraft.
